Making the change

I decided to sketch my final mapping idea into a self contained simulation website in flash. I also scrapped my idea to say that 'everyone can get involved' as it is a localised idea, and whilst it grows, it should start off small as the 3D environment wouldn't actually exist for different areas until it is built so there's no point asking people to get involved when you arent doing anything with the information. I am going to include a link to my previous solution (although there will be a link within my portfolio anyway) as i've realised that the process might be of interest to users of the website anyway (not solely for those critically analysing the work).

Putting my model into an interactive simulation

I have had to create an animation and split the video to correspond with action buttons. The simulated website still only accepts hand written map simulations, as i actually kind of liked the idea of it, and being able to browse other users work.

It is built in flash, and will follow the storyboard i have sketched out in my journal.

I used four .avi files, one of which has been uploaded below.
